1. Complementary Service Only

The services provided by Second Opinion (the "Platform") are strictly complementary to the care provided by your treating clinician. The Platform is designed solely to provide medication education, intelligence, and schedule organization based on a prescription you have already received from a registered and licensed medical practitioner.

2. No Diagnoses or Prescriptions

The consultants operating on the Platform:

• Do not diagnose new medical conditions.
• Do not prescribe new medications or alter existing prescriptions.
• Do not instruct you to start, stop, or change the dosage of any prescribed treatment without direct clearance from your treating clinician.

3. Accuracy of Information

The guidance provided during a video consultation and the resulting Medication Summary are based entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the documents (prescriptions, lab reports) and information you provide. Omission of relevant medical history or concurrent medications may result in incomplete or inaccurate guidance regarding drug interactions.

4. Treating Clinician Primacy

In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the guidance provided by a Second Opinion consultant and your treating clinician, the instructions of your treating clinician shall take absolute precedence.

If a Second Opinion consultant identifies a potential severe drug interaction or contraindication, their role is to advise you to immediately contact your treating clinician for clarification. They cannot legally alter the prescription themselves.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Second Opinion and its affiliated consultants shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform, or from actions taken or not taken based on the educational guidance provided during a consultation.
